There are a further 20 reviews on the Holiday Watchdog site. (The only real moan appears to be that the hotel seems to be geared towards German visitors. Personally, the only language I hope never to hear when I'm abroad is English!):

Typical maximum daytime temperatures, in mid-May, average around 23C, falling back to about 17C overnight. Rain is usually almost non-existent during May.

If you were to imagine the Gran Canaria weather at that time transposed to Britain the weatherman would say it was going to be hot and that people will find it difficult to sleep. There would be comments bordering on complaint in the media in general. Anyone's house heated to the same level would be described as oppressive. Strangely, Brits travelling abroad might on the other hand describe it as nothing to write home about and say they would have liked it hotter. I have never understood this.
