If the banks lose the case then they are going to want to replace these charges with other charges so that their profits don't fall.
If this means that people who keep their personal current account in credit start having to pay for the privilage of just having such an account, then I hope the banks win the case.
Whether or not these contentious bank charges are fair and reasonable, those who have paid them knew full well that they were liable to pay under the terms and conditions which they accepted when they opened thir account and continued to use it.
