Which mobile?

A bit of advice from those who know please. My daughter wants a specific Vodophone phone for Christmas, which cannot be unlocked, so that's the tarrif she will need to use. On her present 'pay-as-you-go' tarrif, she gets through about �5.00 a week of credit, thanks to my constant moaning! I'd like to get her onto a contract, which will be more ecconomical, but i don;t want to be paying a fortune for a year. Can anyone advise which tarrif will suit these circumstances? Thanks.

Figuring out which phone tariff is best can be a bit of a minefield unless we know a few things first. For example, when does she mainly make her calls- daytime,evening or weekend? Also what numbers does she call most- landlines, the same network or lots of different networks? This all matters when making a decision.

my partner got me a motorola camera phone on a contract whaich was free on a upgrade we are on the 750 plan which means you get 50 texts free a month and 750mins free calls a month i dont think a contract phone would b a good idea 4 a child though.

If she is only going through �5 per week, I don't see how a contract phone can be more economical.

All phones can be unlocked, it's against the law to make them unlockable as far as i know..
�5 per week would suit PAYG not contract. Stick her on virgin or something.

tel her 2 get a fone which is available on o2 online 50 tariff (it is 19 pounds a month with 500 free texts and (i think 100 mins))

btw 5 pound a wk is nothin 4 a teenager!

Try a T-Mobile mix it contract, its the same as a contract phone but once minutes have been used, it turns into a PAYG, thus no big bills, the bonus is, the extra revenue helps West Bromwich Albion! Boing Boing!
