visa interview for usa
I have a police caution for being drunk entering a sports stadium [ i wasnt but thats another story] i recieved this in january having had booked a family holiday to florida in june
I have a visa appointment in a couple of weeks and was just wondering how succesful these visa applications are.I certainly dont think it would be classed as moral torpitude but i am worried sick all the same.
people have told me that i shouldnt worry and that i shouldnt even bother and just declare i have never been arrested but i want to do things right thanks in advance for your replys

(The London Embassy advise you to apply for a visa so that THEY can make this decision, and charge you for it.)
So there shouldn't be a problem with a visa, except....
the US are clamping down on visa applications from people with a drink problem. You will have to convince them that you don't have one. Denying that you were drunk won't work - they will take that as evidence that you DO have a problem and won't admit it. A one off lapse is the best line.
So I wouldn't like to predict how things will turn out. Sorry.
