The food was like slop, chicken curry for example was one chicken leg in a bit of packet sauce and the leg had a massive blood clot in it! The food was also recycled night after night, and with only 3 choices on the menu each night it was hard to avoid something recycled from the night before.
If you have to stay in it, it's not bad for sleeping in but I would not ever eat in this place again!

Never been to that particular hotel, but personally I think Qawra ia awful. Not as bad as Bugibba, but still pretty dire. Malta is a VERY small place, and a lot of it is really tatty downmarket tourist tat. We generally stay either in Marsascala or on Gozo, where you can at least escape the worst most of the time. The very best places, IMHO, are Mdina and St Anton, but they're not cheap.
