witness accident

i was just out in my car waiting at a round about when i heard a cop car with the sirens going a silly woman never got the way they crashed he went up a high kerb and hit a sign post ..if he had not hit the post i think he would of hit my car .....he got out so did the woman ....seemed ok bet he had brown pants lol would you of stopped and been a witness ..?

Of course I would have stopped!!! Hopefully no one was hurt. Although I don't half feel sorry for the copper who now has one big pile of paperwork to do!!!!!

Whether the woman driver got out of the way or not the policecar is the one at fault here.He should have allowed plenty of time for stopping as he approached the roundabout(unless the woman driver pulled out in front of him from a side road or something). Thankfully it seems nobody was hurt if they were both out of their cars walking around.

id have stopped if safe to do so and / or if people were hurt.

The best thing if you really couldnt stop safely and you witness the accident is perhaps to call the police station and let them know you can give a statement if required.
