hi. K reg escort xr3i. i keep getting a violent judder when driving, normally between 3 and 4 thousand revs. also when in neutral if i dip the accelerator the revs drop slightly before picking up. Hope this makes sense and someone can help, thanx

1st thing i'd try is the in-line fuel filter, I'd change this as it only costs about 5-10 quid. I'd also drop some redex injector system into the tank, If not it could be blocked jets.
I had this on a rx7 and it was sorted once the fuel filter had been changed. Hope this works
