The original recipe for the oil was lost, but then found again and made up into phials, to be used during coronations.

Now, the famous recipe created by Constance Spry for the Queen's Coronation lunch in 1953 was Coronation Chicken. What does Spry make? They make Spry Crisp 'n' Dry cooking oil. Forget roses and ambergris, they got Coronation Oil out of the nearest corner shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!
