These pond life should be strung up and made an example of. Instead we live in a country obsessed by murderers "rights" sponsered by scumbag lawyers and right on liberals.
Whats the betting someone appeals on this too.
The only hope is that with such short sentences someone will be waiting for the scum when they get out.

I think they should get life and it should mean life. They need to bring back old fashion prisons with no mod cons or bring back the death penalty. I also think that all criminals should be named, a case, where I live, the sherriff changed the law to release the name of a 15 year old thug who attacked a homeless person an they were right to do that. I think more discipline should be installed in schools and with the police force to stop youth crime. We are breading a generation of people who have no respect for mankind, god help our future!!!
The law rules on the side of the criminal not of the victim these days, so it is time to get the justice system changed

brionon...... as the parent of a well brought up child who went "bad" at secondary school I would ask you not to assume that all children who behave badly are not brought up in the right way. Peer pressure is very powerful, and can sometimes supersede parental influence and discipline, as was the case with our son. We begged the school for help. We went to Social Services for help, They would not or could not help us. We begged them to tell us what we were doing wrong. We tried every disciplinary measure available to us. Nothing worked. It was when he eventually ended up behind bars in a young offenders centre, that did it for him. It frightened him so much. Hallelujah! He has a 3 year old son and a lovely partner who is a schoolteacher. He dotes on his son now, and prays that he will not turn out like his dad.
So please do not be so quick to judge the parents. These days it is even harder for schools , parents, anyone to instill discipline. There are not sufficient deterrents or punishments for bad behaviour in society. Personally I think you would be doing these kids a favour if corporal punishment was reinstigated in schools. It worked for my generation, and it certainly did not do us any harm. I am sick of hearing about all this human rights for criminals nonsense. what about the victims human rights. What about Mr & Mrs Newloves human rights?
PS I can remember thinking one time when we were in despair about our sons antics and did not know which way to turn that if I had the option I would have had him put to sleep.
