Hi ladies - aims, if you are craving red meat (iron) and oranges (vit C) it could be that perhaps you are not gettng enough iron; the body is really good at telling you what you need and vitamin C helps the body to absorb iron quicker (tea has the opposite effect so try to avoid drinking tea when you have just eaten iron rich food).
My mum had to have four blood transfusions a few weeks ago (totally unrelated to pregnancy - don't panic!!) and she was told to take her iron tablets with a glass of orange juice, and to snack on dried apricots. Spinach is a good way of getting iron into your diet too. Hope this link will help:

I guess you must both be around 12 weeks? I was soooo tired at the start, it's all normal. I'd get in from work at half 4, sleep for two hours, wake, eat, then go to bed and sleep for England! At the weekend I could easily get a good 10-12 hour sleep! Thankfully it stops and you can go back to normal sleeping patterns, then just as you're getting used to enojying being pregnant you have hit the third trimester and you're sleeping for England again! LOL
Good lck with everyone - sorry for intruding on your thread xxx
