Meredith, Lacanau is brilliant! wonderful beaches! The whole Bordeaux area is lovely. And if you want to escape the beach, you can always go on a wine tour! lol

know the odd word max , but would have to spruce up a lot yeah , brittany would be my first choice , walked down the tower in paris , and hate heights (can you believe it ) not by choice took exit to mean lifts , and it meant stairs , walked all the way down , i ***** myself :)

I actually lived in Paris for 6 months at some point. Never went up either the Eiffel tower or the Montparnasse tower. I'm scared of heights too! lol Definitely let me know if you want even to just go and visit Brittany, I'm sure my mum would love to have visistors! xxx

thanks max , going back to the tower , left there got lost in all one of the meany streets around , got the map out hadnt a clue , so ask a guy who was on his way to the centre of paris , and took us in his car totaly out off his way and dropped us off at our hotel speak to you soon ,nite XX

Night Shanx! lol Reminds me of when my they came to visit me here, we went to the Giant's causeway (obviously! lol) with the car. On the parking lot we found this desperate American backpacker who had missed the last bus back to town to catch his train. We gave him a lift to the town and he just caught his train! He was so grateful, bless, I was very proud of my mum and step dad that day! lol Mind you, he wasn't scared to get in a French car! lol

You should look into this, btw, you never know what you might come across! My family used to own several vineyards and properties, but I think they have all been sold now. :O(
