I am also an Asthma sufferer, when I have an attack I sing lullabies to my daughter until either medication helps or ambulance arrives. Everyone has their own different weay of coping with an attack. I really dont think there is any need to insult frickwit. Bigmamma, get better soon, we all love you. xxx

One of my good friends DID die of an asthma attack, frickwit, but before it got too bad, he was scribbling notes for work. Don't you dare to presume that BM's attack was any less serious than yours are, because just as my friend was starting to feel easier, he was suddenly fighting for breath again, but passed out and never came round.

IF you are gasping for breath, last thing I'd do would be to sing a lullaby , when you cant breathe, you GASP, hope for the best, and the Ambulance, obviously none of the 'sufferers' here have 'died'.

Bigmama did not log on to tell us she was having an asthma attack - she was already logged on and posting - she appreciated that people that she was in threads with would wonder where had gone. I agree it may have been more sensible to call the ambulance first, but perhaps she was not thinking entirely straight.

I am sure that we are all hoping that she is safe and well and will be back with us as soon as possible.

I have had a few life threatening asthma attacks actually.I also have had lung surgery. Its amazing the things i've had to do to remain calm during an attack and if coming on the internet would have helped then i'd have done that too.If anyone is full of sh1t frickwit its you.

Monday and I have been released from hospital today . I was on my own btw , and was already chatting on several threads .To just disappear without saying would be like walking out of a room while talking to someone.
I want to say a huge thankyou to all of you lovely friends who have posted on here , bless you xxxxxxx
