Yes, but as I read it in the new Quiz , the problem arose because of wrong answers circulating in the answerbank. The fact that the correct answers were found by some entrants shows that diligent researc h pays off. Well sometimes. I'm glad I didn't enter but not that I'm down in Group E as a new entrant.
The main problem was that the questionmasters gave two wrong answers to their tank pictures. The really big problem was a tank they identified as a PATTON. 14 teams put PATTON & got the point which gave them 150/150. To everybody else it was clearly not a Patton because it didn't have 6 pairs of road wheels. Bovington Tank Museum have confirmed that the tank was certainly NOT a Patton. It was an experimental tank. The questionmasters have agreed they got it wrong but then compounded their error by NOT deducting the point and the prize money from the 14 teams.
