I saw this on the BBC breakfast news,I can't believe anyone would be so stupid and careless.They shouldn't have had the child out in that weather,never mind taking him down to the sea front.I hope the idiot father gets prosecuted for endangering the poor child.

I used to live in Bridlington back in the mid 80's and we used to get waves like this on the harbour during winter,all the locals knew how dangerous it was to go down there in bad weather but you did get the odd holiday maker who got washed over the wall by the waves.
This idiot father is so lucky that nothing happeed to his son!

Also last night on Sky News, the reporter was at Newquay reporting and the crowd on the quay. The waves were coming up and splashing them, mad the lot of them.

It says in the paper that the mother was waiting on the prom whilst the father and his friend pushed the child along a groin that was pointing straight out to sea.
