They say; What you don't know can't hurt you! Do you think this is a true saying?

paul you sound like me lol.

I lost a bracelet that I got from my partner at christmas time, he won't be pleased if I tell him. The thing is it's covered by insurance, would it be bad of me to claim it on that and replace the bracelet without him knowing? Would you do it or is it dishonest? (I'm normally very honest but can't be bothered with the moaning) lol
i think honesty is the best policy. i'm like paul and i hate it if i'm kept in the dark, it just does my head in!!!

I'm very blunt about things but sometimes I do upset people but its for their own good and my true friends can see that. I;ve even gone up to strangers while they are trying on clothes and said sorry but that really doesnt suit you

yeah I'll do that, it would probably eat away at me anyway ....thanks : )
I agree with 3ight8ball, i think it totally depends on who it is and what it is as to whether its best to be totally honest. Gotta say, i do shy away from hurting anyones feelings, thats just me and i sometimes wish i could be a little more honest if the truth be known. I mean about things like "do you like this" or "do you mind"? etc....

I don't like hurting anyones feeling either julie, I'll go with what paul said, I'll apologise and use it to show how much I loved the bracelet and how gutted I am, at least it's insured eh!
sorry sandrajo, i was just talking generally really. For the record, i think youre doing the right thing. ;-)
