VAT on iTunes

Can anyone tell me if vat is already added to track download prices?
I have noted that when we used to pay by BT 'Click-And-Buy' which appeared on our phone bill PLUS vat !!
Can anyone explain?

BT should not be charging you VAT on any itunes purchases as they do have vat on them.

You know -I did think that was the case.....and fortunately we don't use 'Click & Buy' anymore. Perhaps I should inform iTunes Store about that.....
