dry cleaning in the US

Has anyone out there any idea of roughly how much it would be to have a womans suede jacket, dry cleaned. I have been quoted �40+ here, and thought it might be cheaper to take it with me on holiday. I'm going to Florida?

To be honest, is it really worth the hassle of taking it all the way to Floriday? It will take up room and weight in your suitcase, then you have to find a dry cleaners, then remember to go back for it! I don't think I could be bothered!

I agree with Spud. I imagine it would be about 40-60 dollars here. In addition, since Florida is warm all the time, I would not imagine they have much experience with them!

In my experience of dry cleaners in the US, it will cost about half what it costs here. But don't use hotel laundry, you need to find a neighbourhood place.
