accident claims
my husband has asked me to post this question to see if anyone can advise him please - he had an accident at work 5 years ago the case was closed because the motorway he was working on was open so therefore the site was now fully operational. it wasn't a cut and dried case but he is still upset because he is permantly disabled due to the fall he had and would like to know if there is anything else he could do.

He had an accident at work which resulted in him being permanently disabled. Normally this results in a (fair) dismissal on ground of capability (he can't work any more) with a pay-out, as well as the opportunity to pursue the employer's insurer for compensation for loss of future earnings. Sometimes such claims take a few years before being presented because it needs to be established the long-term medical situation.
Is this process not being followed through by your husband?
