Can Actors be expected to cope with an entirely digital scenery? Either way it was a tremendous idea which ( for me ) fell a little flat ( though the " Cloudbase Aircraft Carriers were cool! )Does anyone think that the poor reception for " Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow " will prevent further All Blue Screen Movies being made?

Whilst not 100% bluescreen, "Sin City" will be using many of the same techniques: http://www.movie-infos.net/index.php?action=trailer (scroll down), and "MirrorMask" as well: http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/mirrormask/index.html .

I think that as the technology improves, it may become a lot more common.

im not sure the way sky captain was filmed put people off,i think it was the unusual look ie mimicing 50's sci-fi.

i expect many more movies to be made this way.the budgets must be far lower and the possibilities endless.someone always has to go 1st and then others will follow
