I'm driving myself bonkers today.
I've recently had treatment which stoppped eastrogen being produced for 3months (not fun at all!) now i've come off the treatment and its wearing off I've just gone totally broody today after a dream i was pregnant.
But I'm not broody for a baby just to be pregnant.
so come on all you pregnant ladies out there, tell me its no fun at all, so i can stop myself going BONKERS!

first baby 6 weeks of feeling sick but never being sick.
middle 10 weeks or so are OK
then rib splay, thats a nice one, baby has so little room that your ribs actually splay outwards and you get growing pains in your ribs, not nice.
You cant eat all the nice things you enjoy
you cant even take a lemsip if you get a cold.
second pregnancy ive got diabetes so cant even eat chocolate! I have to test my blood 4 times a day and baby is already 1lb larger than average with another 4-6 weeks to go. My first baby was 9lbs 6 so you can imagine how much bigger a diabetes baby may be for me.
My hormones are now all over the place and i am on a very short fuse at the moment, everything irritates me.
no clothes fit right, even nice maternity trousers fall down and tops rise up.
Your belly itches where its being stretched, you get what could be mistaken of a map of underground across your tummy, this is the veins that are all on show, thats before the strecth marks come into play.
You cant sleep as you get whats nicely called restless leg syndrome but is similar to the period pains you get in your legs, you have to keep moveing to prevent the aches.

wow redcrx - sounds very scary but it must be all worth it in the end?
i'm not likely to go off tell MrMiniN i want a baby coz i know its just my hormones kicking back in. your mind works totally different when your hormones are switched off, I can tell ya! you don't even think about babies!!!
in reality when it comes to it, i'll be sh*t scared of giving birth, don't know how any woman gets through it!?

im the worls biggest wimp, honest, and yet im doing it for a 2nd time,.
You have to realise that it is the most natural thing in the world to carry a baby and give birth. Our bodies do most of it automatically, ok with side effects, but without us having to think about it. Giving birth is scary but if ot was that bad then we'd all be only children wouldnt we.
MiniN, i hope things settle soon for you, i cant imagine what it must be like to have your hormones switched off, it must be like an overload when you start producing them again.

i suppose its purely because we feel proud of what we've acheived, its not boasting as such. I never say i did it without pain relief to make someone else feel inadequate. Plus Im afraid of needles so it was fear that stopped me having any drugs lol
SPD is a HUGE ouch, some women end up on crutches from the pain.

Morning ladies :-)
Ok here goes - and bear in mind I have had a ball of a pregnancy compared to some - I didn't have any morning sickness at all but.....
The first 12 weeks I was sleeping 10-12 hours a day, and what with working 8 of them, I was eating for the reaming 4-6 and felt like I hadn't seen my hubby for about 3months. During the middle bit I had really intense headaches that I couldn't shift no matter how much sleep or water I had.
For a long time I couldn't fit in maternity clothes but was too big for normal clothes, now I can't fit in anything and even my pyjamas that are enormous roll down and ride up. When I have to get dressed I spent half my time walking with one hand on my waist or lower back to stop my trews from falling down.
I haven't been able to get my shoes on by myself for weeks, yesterday I had no choice but to do them myself and it took me half an hour to get a pair of slouch boots on that are two sizes bigger than I'd normally take.
Nipples. Ow. Enough said.
I can't get out of the bath by myself, except when I am feeling particularly athletic and have to roll onto all fours and hoist myself up. This takes a good five minutes.
Speaking of baths, I have to remain fuzzy or ask my hubby to shave anything that needs doing.
I can't remember the last time I saw my feet or my ninny without the aid of a mirror.
I can't turn over in bed with the aid of a winch, and despite weeks and weeks of sleeping 2-3 hours a night, I now get a good 7-8 hours but it is because I can't actually turn myself over in bed and usually wake up in the exact same position that I have dropped off in.
I have a stinking cold and can't take anything for it (well nothing that actually makes a jot of difference anyway).
Still broody for pregnancy? LOL
