Corsa SXI 02 reg: cig lighter socket
I have a vauxhall corsa sxi on a o2 plate.
Recently my cigarette lighter socket has stopped working. My sat nav is plugged into it and for some reason has stopped working. I tried a few other things in the socket but nothing.
Now the light around the socket is still lit but there is no power. Would this be a problem with a fuse or would it be something else?

The above answers are a little misleading
The light around the socket is more than likely on the same circuit as the rest of the illuminated switches - i.e. completely separate from the power source/circuit for the item its illuminating - this is the case for most modern cars
I would therefore presume that if there is no power in the socket and you have tried a few devices to ensure its not the sat nav thats broken - then the fuse to the cigarette lighter has blown.
BTW on the corsa I think its called an 'electrical accessory outlet which may help you locate the fuse
