Hi all I'm thinking of getting BT vision and I know you connect the V box to the BT hub with a pair of BT powerline plugs. My PC is currently connected with Advent powerline plugs because a wireless signal won't go through my walls. Does anyone know if these will co-exist with the BT powerlines?

Ah yes!
Just found the answer myself buried in the BT Vision site's FAQ. Yes of course you can just use an ethernet cable if the V box is close enough to the Home Hub.

We got BT vision and are very eager to get rid of it. It takes up 3 plug sockets,a scart socket and an ethernet port in the hub. It also crashes regularly and slows down your broadband speed. We are currently looking into getting a normal freeview box when funds allow as BT vision is cr@p!!! also the hardrive on the damned box is really noisy and you can still hear it when its on standby, you can't actually power off the box unless you unplug it or switch off at the plug which then results in having to set it all up again when plugging back in.
