flights to Cyprus help needed
15 Answers
Hello, we are a family of 6 plus a 9 month old and would love to go to Cyprus, but the main problem being the prices and the times. To start off with the prices, we cant seem to find a good deal on the prices, but when we do the times are so ridiculous when you have a little baby in tow, we have been warned off using easy jet so thats not an option, has anyone ever travelled there and found a good price, we are looking for begining sept, or begining Oct. Help please. xx

Exactly why have you been warned off Easyjet? If it's someone who has had a 'bad experience' then that could be repeated time and time again for every single airline company in the world.
You'll get a bit more leg room than on a charter flight and it's far more likely to be on time and less likely to be rescheduled or cancelled.

I found BA to be the cheapest, using their GB Airways service, but this was sold to easyjet. I am not sure if BA will still be flying to Cyprus, but I found that the earlier you book the cheaper it is. We paid 20 less than other family members on the same flight a few weeks earlier. With Easyjet starting to fly to Cyprus the other companies may reduce their prices as well. When we booked our flight the next cheapest was 400 dearer!
As to when the flights are cheapest - it depends on what flights you are looking at. Scheduled airliines (ie BA, Cyprus Airways) are cheaper the earlier you book because they only sell a certain number of cheap seats and when they have gone the fares start to go up. Generally speaking, Charter airlines such as Thomsonfly, Flythomascook etc may get cheaper at the last minute because they just want to fill up their plane. Some people have a bad experience with any airline. I book hundreds of Easyjet flights and have received less complaints about them than I have had about BA! (I am a travel agent!)
Super bike you might be able help me then if your an agent, if i book with easyjet my daughter has a 9 month old and we all want to travel to Cyprus in Oct, would we all be able to pay extra for the SB or only her as shes the one with the baby? Hope you can help, and any other honest help about easy jet would be so greatful. Thanks in advance.
