im from glasgow and in all my years (26) even i dont know!!!
Hi, info from the Glasgow Guide. Renfield Street was built and was named by Campbell of Blythswood after his Renfrew estate. he had a residential property on Renfield St. but I'm not sure when. Union St changed it's name from Union Place in 1802 when Gordon St opened. In short they are two different streets. Hope this helps
