can anyone please help with this question ?
explain how palliative care differs from terminal care ,many thanks for any answers it is for a course i am doing

terminal care is that which is given to a patient who is in the last days of life (in my opinion) Palliative care can be gven at any stage of an illness to alleviate symptoms. For example, a person going through chemo for breast cancer might be given palliative care if they had a problem with a certan symptom, eg nausea and sickness. the pC practitioner may not try and treat the cause, but rather look at how to alleviate the sympptom
Terminal care is the care given to someone in the last days of life, when they are clearly going to die - it might happen when the patient is unconscious for example and might include mouth care, regular turning and the administration of drugs
