Can I convert my Thorn Housewarmer S backboiler (1979)to take its air supply through the external wall behind it? (Having installed double glazing and doors, there may not be enough air available from within the house)

The simple answer is NO, Vents must-not be installed in to the builders opening. what sort of ventilation did you have befour double glazing ? why did the glass company not replace any vents? you need to ask them to reinstall any ventilation that they have removed, they are putting your life at risk.

You can have draft free vents fitted please contect your local corgi installer
