They both believe that Creation is something that has a meaning and purpose and that rather than being completely random is being guided by a benevolent spiritual force which they call God. They both believe in a contest between powers of good and evil and both see God as being partially revealed in every living thing. There are some similarities between the Hindu belief in "aspects" of God and "avatars" and the Christian belief in the Trrinity. Both religions see the personal actions of people as being important, but the Hindu view of "karma" is at odds with Christian belief in salvation, where works come after belief, not the other way round. Similarly mainstream Christianity has no place for reincarnation which is central to Hinduism.

From what i know, and its limited about hinduism, both christianity n hinduism believe in doing good for fellow man and giving in order to get a favourable return from god or gods. Harekrishnas (from hindu god krishna) believe that everyone should have free food and drink at all times, and have many festivals in uk giving out this free food, which comes from a love of fellow man. In similarity, Jesus fed the 5000.
Both hindus and christians believe in a higher presence-God, but apart fromm the socilaities (love, peace, respect ect) their differences end, with Christianity forbidding the worshipping of idols, and animals, where many hindu gods are of animals and in an idolised form. Christians also believe in heavan-where hindus believe in reincarnation.
