They tend to sell a bit of everything really, the last time i went in one, they had garden furniture and post-its as well as food. Oh yeah, and they do mostly non-perishable stuff. And if you live in the Wales area of the world, there's one in Ebbw Vale.
I go into Aldi in Blackpool now and then and have been inthe Leeds one too, ther stuff is fine and there offers are fine. I bought 2 sets of bicycle lights recenty that were excellent value for money. I did have to return a faulty one but they replaced it immediately,
My mate used to work in the Leeds branch and yes the checkout operatives did know the prices individually, although i think they scan now.
Lidl also pay good rates but I think someone mentioned to me once in passing that they employ you on a self employed basis.....notsure about that bit though.
i use the aldi branch in selly oak bimingham,there stores are no frills and food is taken from boxes.this is how they keep the price down,and i have always found it to be of a good quality.and lets not forget the great deals that they do, on medion computers.i bought one 3 years ago,and will be upgrading to the new titanium md8383.
