My hamster

I will be buying a 6 week old syrian hamster next week, and I would like some tips on how to tame it. I have had two syrian hamsters before but no matter how hard I tried, I could not tame them. I think I was most probably doing something wrong. If anybody out there has perfect hamsters that they have tamed themselves, could you please give me some tips on how to improve my hamster taming skills!!

Just keep trying to clap your hamster and put your hands next to the cage so they can smell it is you and they will soon get to know your smell and will start to trust you, but you should make sure you wash your hands first or they may think your food!
Thats what i did with my hamster and hes doing fine now!
