i thought it was odd that the bloke that had her was still leaving the flat to go shopping ...i wonder why she never got out ..,,maybe she felt safe with him god knows ..glad she is still alive

Apparently, the mother has only been able to see Shannen through a one-way mirror. Shannen knew the mother was behind the mirror but was unable to see her. Doesn't that say something? I have visions of the mother looking straight at the child and the look could say it all.............that's if there is something to hide!

I don't think the parents knew where she was but I definitely think they're now worrying about something. Was Shannen being abused, and did they know about it perhaps? One thing is for sure, if the best place for a 9 year old girl in these circumstances was with her Mum - she WOULD be with her!

I follow the theory that after the Madeleine McCann circus and public donations, Shannons vile mother thought she could make a few fast bucks and become rich on the back of peoples generosity.

She could then live her life in Tenerife or some equally chavesque hell hole in relative wealth.

Unfortunately, although a childs life is a childs life, people are reluctant to give to council estate peasants as they are to upstanding members of society like the McCann's.

I forsee the mother and the spastic looking step-father being arrested fairly soon.

I think it's all very odd. I think the family are all very peculiar and I found it all a bit disturbing the way all the neighbours were 'celebrating' mincing around in their shell suits like a load of Vicky Pollard's ! I'm pleased that the kid has been found safe but how I wish it had been little Madeleine that had been found too. Her family are in a different class altogether.
Shannon's mum was aked how she felt that she had been foun and she said "I'm just relieved really" in a real matter of fact way.
I may be wrong but I think the whole thing has been a set up. They have seen the Madeleine McCann fund and thought they could have same thing.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but.........
