Easement in Deeds

In my deeds there is an easement for my neighbours sewage to drain into my septic tank. Environmental health condemed the tank and requested both properties have a BioDisk system installed. We have both now done this and my neighbour says we must now draw up an agreement between us stating that the easement has been withdrawn. A copy of this then placed with out Deeds.

You certainly need an agreement - I'm not sure what form it should take - but the most important thing is to get the title information at the Land Registry corrected. Go to their website or give them a ring and ask for advice on how to do this.
