Net curtains

How much shorter than the window should net curtain wire be and how do you measure it? Thanks.

attach one side of the wire to the hook you are going to hang wire on, then stretch the wire accross to the other hook pull it tight as when you hang net on it will sag a little..when its really tight cut the wire to size and attach hook to the end..people are buying those net rods more now than the wire as its easier..they sell the rods for nets in wilkinsons really cheap...mbear zodiac
