What is the three word french term  beginning with 'la' used to describe a female epitome of grace and beauty who somehow always seems to be aloof or unapproachable?

Have you looked at the old Spenserian term "bellibone" which is a 'beautiful and good woman'.  The term originates from the French 'belle (et) bonne'.  Could your answer not be "La Belle Bonne"?

Thanks doorknob  - I will follow it up.

Must be "la femme fatale", as often used to describe the likes of Marlene Dietrich, Lauren Bacal, etc
La Princesse Lointaine  definitely

Thanks  currie.
Please, how does this tie in with question 10?
Look at this answer - you should then be able to work out the identities of the two people(siblings) who would lead you to the answer to no 10. (I am not trying to make this difficult, just trying to point you in the right direction). There are alos several good pointers in this thread alone.
