A cornet of ice cream with a chocolate flake bar. There's no doubt in my mind and I live locally..........Ron

Thanks Ron. Perhaps it was my Manc accent they didn't understand. Would it have been Joe's? It was in Mumbles on the front x
not quite on line with this thread but iwas an adult before i knew why it was called a "99" !!!

Tee hee mamya- reminds me of a story bout me (most things do, now i think of it) -watching the wrestling on tv + them saying "seconds away, round 3"- they didn't actually mean it would be round 3 in a few seconds.............x
mamyalynne, why is it called a 99 then? Sounds like you might have an interesting definition! I remember reading somewhere that it was to do with the original flakes being 99mm long.
well the story i was told was that cadbury`s had boxes that size already in stock and yes 99mm was deemed the correct length to fit a cone too

yep, bathsheba, it was Joes that you went to. Maybe they were hungover or something, coz a '99' comes with a flake everywhere that Ive been to !
Theres a better Joes ice cream parlour in Swansea itself by the crown court, if your ever back in town ! Ask for a chocolate north pole. You wont be disappointed.
