Headless Pigeons
5 Answers
I went to let my cats out at about 6am this morning and found two headless birds in the garden. The bodies were in tact, but the heads were missing and one had been partly defeathered too. There were feathers everywhere so looks like the bird(s) had fought whatever was trying to catch them. Do you think this could have been foxes? I do have another cat who was out all night, but he is maine c00n and weighs 18lb so has never been very good at catching birds because he's a tad on the large side! They weren't there when I went to bed last night so whatever caught the birds must have done between when they got up and 6am. Anyone any ideas what this could be?
