MY dictionary definition for Entertainment came from Chambers! "A performance intended to give pleasure" Says it all, doesn't it!!

Too right!!
hmm, well entertainment is a personal choice, most comedians make my skin crawl and I do like some cheesy shows. whatever gives people pleasure to watch is entertainment for them..., good or bad

If I dont like something I choose not to watch it.
But-if it doesn't "give pleasure"...then it is not entertaining.

pleasurable viewing is a personal thing, whatever you get pleasure from watching is what you regard as entertainment even though someone else may find it irritating beyond belief...
