i have recently bought an indoor plant from ikea.it has not grown one leaf since i bought it some six months ago.any ideas.

Got a name for you plant? Knowing which plant would be most helpful.

I've never been to an Ikea that sells live plants. No offense, but could it be fake? They make some pretty convincing silk plants these days.
