How do you put your grades on your CV from OU level 2 qualifications? Do you put the letter grade, the overall percentage or the university equivilant? (eg 2:1) ? Thanks

(I used to work in education and I know that 70% in some examinations was a very good result but 70% in others might not even merit a 'pass'. Unless the person reading the CV had intimate knowledge of the relevant examination, a percentage score would be meaningless to him). Similarly, letter grades mean nothing to most employers. However, anyone who recruits graduates knows what a 2.1 degree is, so that's the system you should adhere to.

I usually put the actual grade, eg. Pass 1, Pass 2, Pass 3 etc. In my experience, prospective employers rarely consider your actual grade beyond your complete honours level, it being just a very small part of your overall application.
