Volume on PC is rubbish...Please help!

How can I increase the volume on my PC? I have all the settings on maximum but still some things are really quiet? the only speakers I have are the small holes in the back of the monitor, would new speakers help? and if so what are the best ones to get and how do I install them?

you should have a socket on the side of the lappy (generally near the vol)

some also use USB

this might help you they are from pc world.
speakers with a subwoofer i think are best for good sound quality.
i must admit when i go on you tube the volume of some of the things on there are very low.
your pc should have a speaker port on the back of your pc.
