The Down Side will focus on their more introspective side, with songs like 'Black', 'Nothingman',and 'Wishlist'. Guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament formed Pearl Jam in 1990 following the demise of their prior band, Mother Love Bone. Guitarist Mike McCready & singer Eddie Vedder soon joined,and drummer Dave Krusen completed the lineup (he would be the first of four drummers, followed by Dave Abbruzzese, Jack Irons, and current drummer, Matt Cameron).
