hi dont know if anyone can help me here but i work for tesco and they are not very nice when you been of sick well anyway i have alot of gynae problems which im under the fertility clinic for and i bleed really really havey and i dontknow when its going to happen i know this sounds disgusting but its as bad as this i was in work for a hour and i came through 3 sanitary towelsand my work trousers i sort of wiped my hand across that part and my have was covered in blood thats how bad . sorry just wanted you to get kinda idea . Well i wnet for a attendance review in work and they wanted to know all theins and outs and i get fed up telling a different manager each time and they have given me some next steps as to when i get my blood results back i have to tell them my resulta and that but i dont see why i should have to tell them as itsnone of there buisness can i get into trouble if i tell them not to be so nosey !!

Intrusive as it may be, they are not going to accept 'gynae problems' as a blanket cover for long running absenteeism, whether it is the odd day or the odd week or so. Sadly, too many women have used this as an excuse for the odd day off here and there and they are wise to it. Yours is an on-going condition and if you want to continue in your employment you must co-operate with your employers. You can request that the information is reviewed only by the company doctor and hopefully they will treat any medical information with the respect to your privacy you deserve.
