I defected but want to come back...

Big confession time... this week I thought AB seemed a bit dull because there seemed to be very few people 'participating'. In my foolish need to make contact with the outside world I joined a couple of other forums (please find it in your hearts to forgive me!)

First was Yahoo - what a pile of pants. Waaaaay too many people. It was all happening so fast on there my little brain couldn't cope. Five answers per question every second and no chance to actually say 'hello' to anyone.

Then I joined a local site in the town where I live - really wish I hadn't. What a mean bunch of b*****s! My first post basically said 'hello' and I was subjected to a tirade of abuse along the lines of 'who the f*** are you? tell us everything about yourself and post up a picture otherwise we're banning you... are you good looking - if not, get lost etc etc'

Feeling all hurt and delicate, I'm now returning to good old familiar AB...

Anyone else have any idea what I'm talking about?

What a bad experience you have had whilst straying from the fold honey , so pleased you have come back and hope you haven't lost too much faith in humanity , there are a lot of people on here who are lovely . Welcome back :-) xxxxx

Oooh starting to feel all happy now! Never had this many responses from my past posts about what colour to paint my wall, how to make curtains etc. Now starting to realise where I had been going wrong all this time ;) Thanks everyone!
