prepayment meter cards

I've got a prepayment electric meter but no magnetic prepayment cards.How can I reprogramme the meter so that it can take cards that I can buy off a supplier.This is not an electric meter supplied by a power company.I want to let the property so I need a prepayment meter.

You can still get a prepayment meter from one of the power companies and then get the cards or as most of em are now a small chip type thing like a USB memory stick, and get it put in your name, the new tenants can't default you in any way cause they will have the "key" and will have to pay for there electric.....

this is a private supply and the power companies are'nt interested.i need to be able to reprogramme the meter.
