No, my friend was pregnant within 8 weeks of having a caesarean. Anyway, i suppose the real answer to this question depends on you and how well ur body has recovered after your last child. Te best thing to do is take advice from your GP to see if they think its ok. It depends also on whether they think you would need another c-section if u were to get pregnant and whether it would do you any harm.
no, my mum has four caesarians in seven years.
You should check with your doctor, if you had any complecations during surgery, or healing you may need longer to heal.  Also if you need another caesarian you will be unable to lift etc for 6 weeks+, could be difficult with a toddler running about!

Hi as above it is best judge it for yoursef depending how you feel but after my friend had a caesatian she was advised by docs to wait 2yrs, but many people dont and are fine.

Good luck x x

I was advised to wait 2 years but I was 35 at the time. You should consult your own doctor - everyone's different.
the general concensus i've read is that in all births the bodies healing time is generally two years.  that's for everything to return as close to normal as possible.  i think it also makes it easier on the parents to have one at least two or three years older.  but obviously the body can handle the extra stress of concieving right away after.  i don't think we could get pregnant so soon if nature wouldn't allow it.  it not recommended though.
