Social Interaction Sites

I find that this Chatterbank is a bit of a social interaction site... communicating with people (from all over the world) is great fun - does anyone know of any other places like this ? I would really appreciate some links to other sites, there must be loads out there !

But it is a profile kinda site rather then q & a site.
