Calf is one of my answers l have but somehow the letter F does not seem to fit into No219a, clue across the board (fee( the letters l have will them read F IT,any thoughts

Once again crofter,thank you l changed the i to an a which fitted the clue better, and other words fitted, just couplr more to go ,there are answers to them which are simple but do not seem to fit in properly,l have to find a answer to clue, repairs(punctures) (s-tc-es)then the other words will fit in, will try solver and see how it pans out,once again thank you for your valuable help.

To crofter, with regards to repairs punctures, l have come up with PATCHES which meant l had to check a answer that mingled with it and changed the s to a p and all three answers l needed fitted into place, thank you once again for all your help.
