Early period/missed pill/sickness ??
3 Answers
Im 8 days into taking my 2nd packet of the combined pill but iv been sick for a couple of days, and im starting to feel like im going to start my period. Im going to stop taking the packet im on and then start again after my period on the normal day i always do. otherwise i'll be having 2 periods this packet! I dont take the pill for contraceptive purposes so im not risking anything that way, i really just take it to control my period. Does that sound ok?

I take the pill end to end like you to control my periods and every now and again my body obviously just decides it needs a clear out and I get spotting. if I keep on taking the pill i get this spotting right up to when i take my break, when i then get a proper period. if you're only on day 8 thats a lot of days of spotting! Whereas if you just take a break now, get your period out of the way, then don't take a break at the end of the packet, you'll probably feel much better. If you don't take the pill for contraception this won't cause you any problems at all.
Thanks for answers. Im def going to stop it now - there isnt point having a whole packet long of spotting and cramps and stuff :( when i could just get it over with now its started !!
