I think it's great!  But you have to have a good graphics card, RAM and processor for it to run nice a smooth.  You can download a demo of it from the main website and give it a try.

it is good and looks amazing but is very samey ie lots of dark corridors with things jumping out at you !

scary the 1st few times but after that becomes predictable.

if u want an absolutely amazing game for pc then it must be half life 2 - it looks amazing and plays briliantly

It is a matter of opinion, I bought the game, played it for about 2 hours, then sold it again. HL2 is a much better, although different, game.

However, there were also graphical issues with my card (Asus 9800XT 256Mb) and I wasn't impressed by their tech support either.

Has hl2 got a multiplayer dimension? Do things like Counterstrike upgrade to the new engine? Cheers

with hl2 you also get counterstrike:source the new version of counterstrike.havent played it myself yet but my son loves it

hl2 is an amazing game and it creates a really good atmosphere with the realistic settings and movie like storyline
