Hi, when i was out my neighbour decided to alter the 6ftslated fence which divides our two back gardens,she got work men to come into my garden and add slate's to my side (post side) so she would have more privicy,can she get away with this

Your neighbours or workmen cannot go on your land without your permission.  It is called TRESPASS.

If they own the fence they can make it as high as they wish as long as it is within the planning guidelines. As for trespass, I doubt you would get very far. In any case there is normally provision made within deeds which means if they have to have access you must grant it. Could you not try speaking to your neighbour? As these things have a habit of getting silly.
