i have lots of wheat growing in my horses paddock, is it safe for my horses to eat this.

i think it is OK, wheat is in quite a lot of pony nuts & horse mix. ive checked my book and it only shows dangerous plants like ragwort theres no wheat in there. so im quite sure its ok.
